Bermuda Day Showcase Tickets available at Gate with SafeKey

The Department of Culture is advising the public that pre-registration for today’s Bermuda Day Showcase has closed, but tickets are now available at the gates of the National Stadium. 

Tickets are free and members of the public wishing to view the Bermuda Day Showcase can simply present their SafeKey at the gate for entry. 

Today’s event gets underway at 2.00p.m., and will feature the excitement of the annual Bermuda Day Holiday.

Marine and Ports Online System Users Experiencing Difficulty

The Ministry of Transport has been advised that some of the Marine and Ports online users are experiencing technical difficulty with the site.

Please be advised that the online system is currently intermittent, and we ask for patience as this problem is rectified.

Customers are encouraged to try and use the site again. Walk-in customers are still welcomed to use the Paget Post Office for the registering of marine vehicles. However, the public is advised of possible delays in line due to COVID guidelines inside of the building.

Adjustment to the Viking ‘Orion’ Schedule

The Ministry of Transport advises that there has been a change with Viking Orion. The ship was due to move into Hamilton today, May 27th, but instead berthed at Heritage Wharf this morning to bunker and take on provisions.  The vessel will then go to sea on Tuesday, June 1 and come into Hamilton on Thursday, June 3 at 9:30am. The Ministry of Transport wishes to remind the public that each of us has a role to play in stopping the spread of the coronavirus.

COVID-19 Daily Release 27 May 2021

The Ministry of Health received 1284 test results since the last update, and none were positive for COVID-19. 

Additionally, since the last update, there were five (5) recoveries and no deaths.

There are currently 31 active cases, of which;

• 29 are under public health monitoring and; 

• Two (2) are in the hospital, with one (1) in intensive care.

Since March 2020, Bermuda has recorded 2491 total confirmed cases of COVID-19; out of those, 2428 persons have recovered, and sadly, 32 COVID related deaths.
