
Firefighters rushed to LF Wade International Airport this afternoon after a report of smoke in a plane.A spokesman for the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service said it received a call shortly after 1.30pm about smoke in the cabin of an aircraft 10 miles from the island.The spokesman said: “The BFRS responded with ten appliances from Clearwater Station, Hamilton Station and a total of 17 firefighters.”On arrival fire crews saw a Lear Jet with three persons on-board.
