Postal delivery delays in Warwick

The Bermuda Post Office (BPO) is advising that the Warwick Post Office is experiencing delays in mail delivery due to limited resources available. 

As a result, the BPO is advising residents who live in the Warwick area and/or who have mail with WK postal codes to please visit the Warwick Post Office to collect any urgent mail they may be expecting.

As a note, the WK postal codes are being delivered on a rotational schedule, which may see delays up to eight working days.

Ministry of Education: Potential COVID Exposure at Devonshire Preschool

 Ministry of Health’s Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (ESU) is aware of a potential COVID-19 exposure at Devonshire Preschool. The person confirmed with COVID-19 has been isolated. The ESU is contacting confirmed close contacts. These person(s) are being advised that they must quarantine (stay home from school and other activities) and get tested for COVID-19. 

A full assessment will be completed and additional communication will be provided, outlining further public health guidelines that must be followed, such as quarantine and testing.

Good day. 

The Ministry of Health received 519 test results since the last update, and 18 were positive for COVID-19. One (1) new case is a resident who arrived on Delta Airlines DL 584 from Atlanta on 8 March 2021 and tested positive on their Day 8 test. 15 of the new cases are classified as local transmission with known contact as they are associated with known cases. The additional two (2) new cases are classified as under investigation. These cases are among residents with no currently identified link to other known cases or history of travel in the past 14 days.
